A woman was harassed by a co-passenger on a KSRTC bus near Peyad in Thiruvananthapuram.
The woman recorded the incident on her phone before hitting him and showing his face.
The incident took place on Thursday in a bus travelling for Vellarada via Kattakada from the Thiruvananthapuram depot.

In the video recorded by the victim, he can be seen touching her body inappropriately and with a bag covering his actions. She pushed away his hand and started questioning his actions. “ What are you doing? Don’t you have mother and sister at home? How disgusting is this ? Aren’t you ashamed ?”, she can be heard asking.

Later, the conductor arrives and the woman tells him to disembark him from the bus or take the bus to police station. He was disembarked from the bus. No formal complaint has been filed yet.

The video has gone viral on social media with users raising concerns regarding women safety and others praising the women’s courage.
केरल राज्य सड़क परिवहन निगम (KSRTC) की बस में एक महिला के साथ सहयात्री ने यौन शोषण किया, जिसका वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो गया है। घटना तिरुवनंतपुरम से वेल्लाराडा रूट की है, जहां आरोपी महिला की बगल में बैठा था और उसने उसे आपत्तिजनक तरीके से छूना शुरू कर दिया। महिला ने पूरे मामले को अपने मोबाइल में रिकॉर्ड किया और आरोपी को मौके पर ही थप्पड़ मारा। वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद महिलाओं की सुरक्षा को लेकर फिर से बड़ी बहस छिड़ गई है।
