ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Queen Elizabeth made a suitable entrance on a horse-drawn carriage for day one of at the Royal Ascot horse races in England on Tuesday (June 19).<br/> <br />Accompanied by her husband Prince Philip, son Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker-Bowles, the Queen was dressed in a light blue outfit and hat, conforming to the new strict dress code standards being enforced this year by the Royal Ascot.<br/> <br />The new code for the Royal Enclosure says women's hats must be a headpiece with a base of four inches or more, ruling out popular pieces known as fascinators which are attached with a clip to the hair.<br/> <br />Knee length dresses or below are also required, as are a top hat, waistcoat and tie for the men.<br/> <br />A team of dress code assistants were on standby in the event of a fashion mishap, with hats, pashminas, waistcoats and ties on hand, but most people were sticking to the new restrictions.
