This documentary series follows the community of Jaywick in Essex, where more than half of the residents are living on benefits. High levels of unemployment have turned the once-thriving seaside village into one of the most blighted areas in the country. Cameras capture images of the Brooklands estate, a part of Jaywick that is highly deprived.
