<br /> President Moon Jae-in picked his new spokesperson this morning.<br /> According to Senior Presidential Secretary for Public Relations Yoon Young-chan, President Moon nominated Kim Eui-kyeom, the former deputy director of politics and local affairs and editorial board member of the Hankyoreh, a Korean daily newspaper. <br /> Kim is a veteran journalist with 28 years of experience.<br />Yoon said Kim's nomination is a symbol of the Moon administration's determination to better communicate with the people regarding the country's key issues.<br />An anonymous Blue House official said Kim will take the post in early February, replacing current Spokesperson Park Soo-hyun, who's preparing to run in the local elections for the governor of Chungcheongnam-do Province, this coming June. <br />
