BJP MP Medha Kulkarni Calls to Rename Pune Railway Station After Bajirao Peshwa 🚉

Pune (Maharashtra) June 24, 2025 (ANI): BJP MP in Rajyasabha Medha Kulkarni demand to rename Pune Railway Station name after the legendary Maratha leader Shrimant Thorle Bajirao Peshwa. The suggestion was raised during a meeting with railway officials from Pune and Solapur divisions, held in Pune today. All Members of Parliament from the two districts were present at the meeting. MP Kulkarni said she discussed several issues related to Pune Railway Station during the meeting. One of the major points she raised was the long-standing public demand to rename the station in honour of Bajirao Peshwa, a key historical figure associated with Pune.
