ihar Exit Poll Date and Time Latest News Today (November 11): Bihar is gearing up for the release of exit poll results as the second and final phase of its high-stakes assembly elections draws to a close. Voting is underway across 122 of the state's 243 constituencies, having begun at 7 am.

The fiercely contested polls will decide whether Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JD(U)-BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) retains power or if Tejashwi Yadav's RJD-led INDIA bloc can end the nine-time chief minister's reign.

Leading polling agencies such as Axis My India, CVoter, IPSOS, Jan Ki Baat, Today's Chanakya, and CNN-News18 are slated to release their projections later this evening across various platforms.

The first phase of polling, held on November 6, recorded a voter turnout of around 65% - a sharp jump from 57.29% in 2020. The increased participation reflects heightened voter engagement, with women voters - who make up nearly half the electorate and traditionally turn out in strong numbers - expected to play a decisive role.

This election also follows a controversial revision of electoral rolls, with the Opposition alleging that the process could disenfranchise genuine voters and benefit the ruling BJP. The Election Commission, however, defended the exercise, stating that the final voter list released in September included 7.42 crore names after removing about 47 lakh entries.
