Ingredients:
π«1 cup milk
π«2 tsp vinegar
π«1/2 tbsp coffee
π«1 cup sugar
π«1/2 cup oil
π«1 cup all purpose flour
π«1/2 cup cocoa powder
π«1 tsp baking powder
π«1 tsp baking soda
For the chocolate buttercream
π«3/4 cup butter, softened (168g)
π«1 + 1/2 cups icing sugar
π«6 tbsp cocoa powder
Method-
1. In a bowl, add warm milk. To this add vinegar and coffee powder and whisk well.
2. Add sugar and oil and whisk till everything is well combined.
3. β Now add the dry ingredients - flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda and whisk to form a smooth cake batter.
4. Pour the batter in two 6inch round tin and bake for 25-30 mins or till a skewer inserted comes out clean.
6. Meanwhile, make the chocolate buttercream by beating the butter till light n fluffy.
7. Add in the sifted icing sugar and cocoa powder and mix everything together.
8. Let the cake layers cool completely and frost them with chocolate buttercream.
