Best Desert Gold I've Ever Found!

We are back at the secret desert location with Harry from @mineoperator and the action starts in the first 5 minutes. After finding some impressive coarse gold in our last trip, we returned to our "honey hole" to see if we could find the source of these nuggets—and the desert did not disappoint.

⛏️ Deep in the Bedrock
We’ve moved past the loose surface material and are getting down into the nitty-gritty. This trip, we brought the demo hammer to break into the unweathered quartz vein, and the results were shocking.

Highlights from today’s dig:

Proper Nuggets: We recovered the biggest hard rock gold nuggets we've found in this district to date—some weighing over half a gram!

Crystalline Discovery: We found spectacular dendritic and crystalline gold locked deep inside "boring" white quartz that most prospectors would walk right past.

The "Line" Mystery: Just when we thought we had the vein figured out, the geology threw us a curveball. We're still tracing the mineralization to find exactly where the highest concentration sits.

⚙️ The Gear: Gold Monster 1000
Once again, the Gold Monster 1000 proved why it’s a legend for small gold. It was pegging non-ferrous signals on tiny "pickers" that were tucked right against magnetite and iron. Even when we were "fooled" by a few 100-year-old boot nails and hammer chips, the detector led us straight to the "Wobble Pop" signals that turned out to be pure gold.

💰 The Final Reveal
Just when I thought we were done for the day and had finished our sign-out, I pulled one last piece of quartz that sent the detector into a frenzy. Breaking it open revealed a pocket chocked full of gold—confirming that we have a real hard rock mine on our hands!

I’m taking several bags of this high-grade ore back to Washington to crush and mill. Stay tuned for the final weight—there could be ounces hiding in this rock!
