[Abu Dawood and al-Tirmizi] <br /> <br />Abu Umaamah (RA) narrated that: <br />The Prophet (S.A.W) said: <br />"Whoever reads "Ayatul-Kursi" [Qur'an 2:255], after every obligatory prayer, nothing prevents him from entering Paradise except death (i.e. that he is still alive)." <br />(An-Nasaa'ee, Ibn Hibbaan -- Sahih) <br /> <br />Duaa translated to English: <br /> <br />O Allah! we testify that none has the right to be worshipped except You <br /> <br />The One and Only Deity and Lord, <br /> <br />The Unequalled, The Eternal. <br /> <br />He who begets not, nor is He begotten, <br /> <br />and there is none like unto Him. <br /> <br />There is no god except Allah, The Magnificent, The Most Serene. <br /> <br />There is no god except Allah, the Lord of the Great Throne. <br /> <br />There is no god except Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Great Throne. <br /> <br />O Ever-Living One, O Self-Existing One, <br /> <br />O Lord of Majesty and Generosity <br /> <br />O Incomparable Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, <br /> <br />O Allah! You hear us and You see us. <br /> <br />and you are aware of what we do secretly and openly. <br /> <br />O our Lord, our protector, and our Master, <br /> <br />Honoured is he who is in Your Protection, Your Praise-worthiness is Most Exalted <br />(Grand be Your praise) and Sacred be Your names, <br /> <br />and there is no god but You. <br /> <br />O Fulfiller/answerer of prayers, <br /> <br />O Fulfiller of wishes, <br /> <br />O our Saviour in times of grief, <br /> <br />O Allah! we beseech You by Your beautiful Names and magnificent Attributes, <br /> <br />O Allah! we beseech you by the Greatest of Your names, <br /> <br />by which you respond to the one who calls upon You, <br /> <br />and grant them what they ask for. <br /> <br />O Allah! Let our bodies be prohibited to the Fire (of hell). <br /> <br />O Allah! save us from the fire. <br /> <br />O Allah! Let our bodies be prohibited to the Fire <br /> <br />with Your mercy, O Most Merciful! <br /> <br />O Allah! We ask You for Paradise and what brings us close to it from speech or deeds, <br /> <br />and we seek refuge with You from the Fire and what brings us <br />close to it from speech or deeds <br /> <br />with Your mercy, Your benevolence, Your generosity, and Your bounty. <br /> <br />O Openhanded one, O Most Generous! <br /> <br />O Allah! O hearer of prayers! <br /> <br />O possessor of grace and bounty! <br /> <br />O Allah! let not any of our sins go unforgiven, nor an illness unhealed, or a handicapped without relief. <br /> <br />We ask You to guide those who are confused and have <br />gone astray. <br /> <br />O Allah! make marrige easy for those who are unmarried. <br /> <br />O Allah, have mercy on our dead. <br /> <br />O Allah by Your mercy! Make things easy for us and help <br />us do anything that pleases You and is good for us in <br />this world and the hereafter, O the most Merciful. <br /> <br />O Turner of the Hearts, keep our Hearts firm on Your Religion, <br />O openhanded one, O Most generous. <br /> <br />Oh Allah, you are the best forgiver, beneficent and merciful. <br />You love forgiveness so forgive us. <br /> <br />O Allah, accept our fasting, and accept our worship (prayers). <br /> <br />O Allah, forgive our shortcomings, by your mercy, O Most Merciful! <br /> <br />O Lord of Jibreel, Mikaeel and Israfeel. <br /> <br />O Creator of the heavens and the earth, <br />Knower of the unseen and the seen. <br /> <br />You are the Judge of the matters in which Your servants differ. <br /> <br />Guide us with regard to disputed matters of Truth by Your permission, for You guide whomever You will to the Straight Path. <br /> <br />Oh Allah, we are Your servants, the sons of Your servants, <br />the sons of Your maid-servants, <br /> <br />You hold us by our forelocks. Your Decree is what controls us, <br />and Your Commands to us are just. <br /> <br />We beseech You by every one of Your Names, those which You use to refer to Yourself, or have revealed in Your Book, <br /> <br />or have taught to any one of Your creation, or have chosen to keep hidden with You in the Unseen, <br /> <br />to make the Noble Qur’an the springtime of our hearts, the light within our chests, and the vanishing of our affliction and our sorrow. <br />And admit us to Your gardens, the gardens of bliss (Paradise). <br /> <br />O Allah, make it an argument for us (The Qur
