Beautiful Evening at Arena di Verona 🎭

Pros:

🔸 Performances here are very spectacular and beautifully set. Most of them are historical productions by famous opera directors, for example. Franco Zeffirelli.

🔸 It is very interesting to listen to opera artists singing in the open air theatre. However, I have found the information that nowadays the loudspeaker system enables them to sound better. It was implemented in 2011.

🔸 Italy is amazing without any doubt, and Verona is a cute old town that is worth a visit too.

Cons:

🔸 It can be rather scorching in summer. When we arrived there, the temperature was 41 degrees. Despite the fact Arena performances start at 9 pm, a lot of people were fainting 😥

🔸 Seats here are crazily uncomfortable. It is impossible to place your legs in a wide manner or relax your back. So, you should definitely spend more to get more comfortable seats.

🔸 I had a different picture of Arena performances in my mind before I came here. They seemed quite posh and even luxurious. However, in fact, it is more of an open air concert where you can wear shorts and enjoy snacks while watching (though strict dress code is stated in tickets).
