I finished Persona 3 Reload in August of last year and I've been wanting to cover this final boss theme ever since! I felt the urge to record it back then and created the arrangement/drums, but I must have gotten sidetracked by other projects at the time because I obviously never got to actually recording the thing.

Fast forward a few months, my fiancée just recently played through the game herself and beat it just a couple weeks ago. Watching the final boss sequence again reminded me that I had a project to complete, and now here we are!

I hope you'll enjoy what I did with this one! I'm especially proud of what I did turning that iconic "climax/vocal" section into a bit of an orchestral rock finale. My gothic influences are getting harder to hide, clearly. You know I love my mix of organ and tubular bells... Can't help it. And if you have really good ears, for the last part of the song, I might be playing "Blooming Villain" on the synth to create background noise. Little easter egg for you.
