Bahar Begum is a sturdy and respected matriarch who proudly rules her household. Bahar is a proud mother of four sons, three of whom are married to the daughters of Babu Bhai and Zebunissa.

Bahar’s youngest son and Babu Bhai’s youngest daughter also fall in love but their relationship soons falls victim to jealousy and opposition. At the center of this turmoil is Nargis, Bahar’s eldest daughter-in-law, who craves power and will stop at nothing to claim Bahar’s throne.
