Why'd Everyone Comment Junk On My Video? #cryptography #cybersecurity #math #algorithms

I ran a community experiment where I had viewers comment encrypted messages on my video, which look like garbage to everyone unless you have the private key (like me) to decrypt and read the original messages. For this, I made and used a custom version of the RSA algorithm, which is one of the most commonly-used encryption methods on the internet -- allowing people to send secret messages to someone they may not even know and whom they've never met, only by transmitting information over a public network, which everyone (including potential eavesdroppers) else can see.
