Using an H100 to Target the Secp256k1 (Bitcoin) Curve with Jean Luc Pons Kangaroo Method

Also I don't actually use protonmail for anything other than throw away accounts occasionally if your serious about your privacy stay away from proton and all of them you gotta do it yourself. ***end_note*** This is a tutorial to run Jean Luc Pons kangaroo on the Nvidia H100. You may use any gpu you like but the settings on my fork are set for the H100. It is very easy to run ./kangaroo2 here are the steps. 1. Use Vast.ai or lambda or whatever you want to boot up from this docker: cudcuda:12.0.1-devel-ubuntu20.04 (this is why I forked the project to get out of the ubuntu 16 and g++4.8) 2. SSH into your instance!! 3. Apt update, apt upgrade -y, apt install nano, make, & git. 4. Clone my fork of Jean Luc Pons Kangaroo. The command is: git clone https://github.com/momofukku/Kangaroo2 5. Make it with: make gpu=1 ccap=90 all (be sure to change the ccap=90 to ccap=86 for 3090/4090’s) 6. Run this: ./kangaroo -gpu in.txt (this will run puzzle 130, it is set for only one gpu and no saving of work) In order to run multiple gpu’s & save work you must run this command: ./kangaroo -gpu -gpuId 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 -ws -w save.work -wi 3000 in.txt (this command is for a cluster of 8, notice it begins at 0, also it is saving work every 3000 seconds. You must adjust accordingly.) Oh and for anyone just learning remember the private key found by this program will be a hex number you will need to pad it to 64 bits with zeros then convert it to WIF and import it into your wallet of choice. I highly recommend using Electrum. May you have great odds, ~sully.mane ############ Side Notes ############ In order to change the settings to use an alternative GPU like a RTX3090 or RTX4090 you will need to edit the Makefile and change the compute capacity from 90 to 80. I explain it in the video. You will also need to change the make command from make gpu=1 ccap=90 all to make gpu=1 ccap=86 all If any of you are successful in finding the private key for a puzzle address please for the love of god share the private key with everyone on bitcointalk.org after you sweep the btc and fork coins. Those guys would really appreciate it! All I hope for is a sub or comment and share what you got going on. If this video gets 1000 likes before 2024 I will frikkin rent the DGX pod system (thats a minimum of 3 clusters of 8 H100's) on Nvidia foundry and see what type of speeds we can get. Obviously puzzle 130 starts at 200000000000000000000000000000000 and ends at 3ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff but if you find underlying entropy patterns you may be able to narrow these numbers and increase your odds exponentially.
