Reddit and Kick Enforced Under Labor’s Social Media Age Ban

Social media platforms Reddit and Kick will now be included under Labor’s landmark social media ban. They join Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and X, which have been assessed as “age-restricted social media platforms”. From December 10, the eight services will need to prevent under-16s from having accounts. The social media sites could be fined up to $50 million if they fail to follow the law.
