Attorney General Calls for Amendments to Data Protection Act

The Attorney General told the Senate today the Data Protection Act needs amendments and, as such, its full proclamation cannot be rushed.<br /><br />But Opposition Senators and one Independent Senator are calling for firm deadlines for the full proclamation of the Act which is intended to ensure the protection of data online.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.
