Arrested Development Season 4 Complete Lodge Scene

About this video

After the Queen Mary capsized, the Bluth family found themselves in the harbormaster's lodge all dealing with their own problems. This scene was special because it contained multiple things going on at the same time, all at different characters' perspectives. This is my attempt to play the scene chronologically, with all of the events happening at once. (This is based off of the original season 4. This scene still exists in Fateful Consequences but ends up only showing how much the remix doesn't suit the original's style.)

After doing this, I can see why it hasn't been done in the 6 years after this season had been released. This scene is a bit of a mess chronologically speaking. Lots of events happen at different times in different perspectives (Lindsay and Tobias's discussion happening way too early for example), and some things happened completely out of order in other perspectives. In order to get the synced up fallacy moment I had to edit Maeby's scene in a completely different order than originally shown, and in order to get Lindsay and Tobais's scene to match up with Gob getting his yes, I had to remove some footage seen from Lindsay's perspective. I also had to remove some bits of Tobias's perspective (the "how'd he do that joke" for example), and remove a bit of Maeby's segment as well. Also, in order for it to all sync at the end, I had to space out bits to make it work. This was extremely detrimental to George's perspective, but less noticeable in the others.
Though when this worked, it really worked. Seeing Tobias's fallacy bit in all of the perspectives was really great, and paired up with Gob's darkness made it even better. It's a shame they were pressed for time with this scene cause with a bit more planning, it probably would have synced up beautifully. As it stands, it's still fun to see.

This belongs to Fox or Netflix. Probably Netflix. Just not me.
EDIT: It was Fox.
