The Armenia Azerbaijan conflict dates way back before their independence. The nagorno karabakh region have been the bone of contention between the countries. Under USSR, Armenia was forced to transfer the control over to azerbaijan. During the disintegration of USSR, both the countries also gained independence. At that time also they fought war to gain control over the area and ultimately Armenia gained indirect control over it. Internationally Azerbaijan is the controller of the area but Armenia maintains control over the area. In year 1995 both countries accepted to intervention of minsk group. The current conflict of nagorno karabakh 2020 started with the clash between the people of two countries. Soon after the clash, armenia imposed martial law and Azerbaijan state of war.
War between azerbaijan and armenia is getting intensive with each passing day, with both countries in for a long conflict, it is difficult to say where this conflict will lead.
