In addition to traditional weight lifting, Momoa relies on kettlebells, boxing, climbing, body weight training, and resistance bands to maintain strength while not bulking up TOO much. Given his large stature, the actor doesn't need to add pointless mass to play a superhero, and instead prioritizes mobility and explosive power.
