Apeh Jamal's Fatal Crash @ Terengganu 2022

Malaysian drag racer Muhamad Hafez Jamal Jamaludin, who raced under the track name of Apeh Jamal, died in an accident that happened during the Battle of The Kings (BOKT) drag event at the Terengganu International Drag Strip in Gong Badak, Malaysia, on Saturday, 15 October 2022.<br /><br />The accident occurred at about 11h35 that morning, the white Mitsubishi Evo driven by Apeh Jamal went out of control during a stint and crashed at high speed. The car left the track and struck a tree on the left side, the driver was seriously injured in the head and limbs and was rushed to Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ) in Kuala Terengganu. However, upon arriving to the hospital, Apeh Jamal was pronounced dead.<br /><br />Following the fatal accident, the organizers of MUSC Motorsport stopped the race in sign of mourning and the meeting which was supposed to end on Sunday, 16 October 2022 was postponed.<br /><br />R.I.P
