The Clovis in War Thunder is a German Marder with a very strange turret on top. Functionally the same as the DF-105 but with a 20mm co-axial cannon, a laser range finder and a better turret traverse at the SAME Battle Rating... the thing is a little monster.

The German Clovis is not an easy tank to master but being a Light Tank with a Laser Range Finder and a half decent HEAT with 400mm of penetration, it's useful for scouting and defending a wide area of a map. With a 5 second reload rate, it can brawl its way pretty good through the battlefield.

It's an 'interesting' addition to the game seeing as that a premium that's the same price and almost the same functionality but just better in every way - The Turm III - sits only 0.3 BR higher.

It's very good and VERY cute none-the-less.
