What happens when you reinterpret one of the greatest rock bands of all time in a confined space? This is exactly what The PINK FLOYD Project from St. Wendel shows in an extraordinary recording session: live, approachable and electrifying - in the middle of a lift.

The idea was as simple as it was ingenious: a lift, a few instruments, a few cameras - and pure music. Without much technical effort, without a stage show, but with maximum intimacy and genuine joy of playing. Songs such as Another Brick in the Wall, Comfortably Numb or Wish You Were Here unfold a whole new power in this format.

The session was filmed on 23 April 2016 in the band's rehearsal room in St. Wendel. Despite a broken lift and some logistical challenges, the project was realised with a lot of passion and handmade creativity. The result was no ordinary concert - but a real experience: up close, intense and full of atmosphere.

This Elevator Session is a tribute to the music of Pink Floyd, but also a statement in favour of the power of reduction. When the room gets smaller, the music gets bigger. And when everything unnecessary is removed, the essentials remain: Emotion, dynamics, connection.
