About this video
Homily at 8:45
For this feast, the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, any of the readings for Masses for the Dead (found in volume three of the Lectionary) may be used. There are 7 Old Testament, 15 New Testament and 19 Gospel choices available. These may vary from the arrangements that your parish has put in place for today’s Mass. The Sunday Lectionary (volume one) gives the first text in each list with a gospel for the three-year cycle to match the Ordinary Time cycle. These are the texts we give here.
