About this video

Today I got what I thought were composite cables for my Atari Jaguar. It turned out to be a little circuit board that I plug into the AV slot on the back of the Jaguar that I plug composite cables into, but the end result is the same. I no longer have to use the system with RF. I can now use it with composite, which means I can plug it into my Composite to HDMI upscaler. This means, further, that I can record HD gameplay from my Jaguar. Here is some gameplay of Alien vs Predator that I recorded.

AVP is often considered the best Jaguar game, It is cited as an early example of horror FPS wioth its moody lighting and atmospheric audio. The xenos are mostly completely silent, and there is no music. There is just the hum of the ship. It all creates a strong sense of atmosphere for this game. This, combined with the three ways to play through it, really helps solidify this game as a bonified classic in the Jaguar library. Oh and it was developed by Rebellion, who would go on to create the 2 AVP first person shooter for the PC from the 2000s.

Personal twitter: @fsmetal
Website twitter: @deliriumfeed
https://www.facebook.com/groups/352007142242/
https://plus.google.com/u/0/105800364840884102272
https://valereth2.tumblr.com/
https://www.twitch.tv/valereth
https://www.minds.com/Valereth
