Alan Turing: The Pioneer Who Shaped Modern Computing 💡

A talk given at the Raytheon Innovators Series. We know that Turing is somehow important to computing, that added something important to the field and had a tragic life in the classic meaning of that term. This talk strips away some of that story and tries to determine what his life means to us, what he added to modernity and how he built on the ideas of his day.
