About this video
Firstly I just wanna apologise for the delay in uploading! This video took a lot longer than I expected it would to make - it’s only my second so I’m just getting up to speed with this but I appreciate your patience 🤞🏼
In this video we take a look at a show that was buried on BBC 2 and never getting the recognition it deserved from the public, for what I think was due to the message it sent to its viewers during the financial crisis of 2008 when this show ran. It’s a modern reimagining of a historic cult myth that tackles themes of wealth inequality, modern slavery and war through a lighthearted and at times hilarious family drama. Make no mistake though - there is plenty of action to keep you on the edge of your seat, so come and dive into why this is the best BBC TV series you’ve never heard of.
Also just want to give music credits to Scott Buckley who makes fantastic music that is available on his website and music channel, all links below. Please leave feedback in the comments and like the video to help me out!
