During the We The Women – Mumbai Edition, Wg Cdr Poonam Gulia & Flt Lt Antara Ravi Mehta told Barkha Dutt that military life is an extraordinary mental battle where courage means learning to silence anxiety. Knowing their families and children are safe back home allows them to focus entirely on the mission. In moments of danger, they said, the only thought is success, we must get them; we will not allow them to enter our territory. Asked what the uniform means to them, they responded that the Air Force is a space where the sky is truly the limit, and life behind the blue uniform offers a healthy environment and immense opportunities to grow.
