AI Unlocked: Identifying AI-Generated Content 🤖

Generative artificial intelligence is everywhere, and young people are leading users of the tools. But many aren’t sure how to use them ethically and responsibly. That’s why MediaWise, in partnership with PBS News Student Reporting Labs, created AI Unlocked, a five-part video series with accompanying lesson plans that breaks down the world of generative AI in ways that teens can understand.

In this third episode, students will learn why bad actors may use AI and how to recognize it, including tips for spotting images, text, video and audio.
