In a small provincial town, where traditions and restrictions shape the fate of women, Andy faces numerous challenges. She has to fight for the right to independently determine her path, overcome the prejudices of local residents and find a balance between her dreams and reality. Even those who try to help often question her ability to cope with the legacy.

The film reflects the difficult journey of a young girl who tries not only to preserve the memory of her grandfather, but also to turn the legacy into her own chance to change her life. "July Rising" is a story about perseverance, strength of spirit, and the fight for oneself in conditions where choices are often dictated by circumstances, not one's own desires.
