AfghanAtalan Stand in Solidarity with Earthquake Victims in Kunar

Ahead of their match against the UAE, AfghanAtalan observed a minute of silence and recited Fatiha in memory of the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Kunar province in eastern Afghanistan.

Kunar, known for its natural beauty and a destination of recreation for many, was hit by a powerful earthquake overnight, which claimed the lives of hundreds of our countrymen and destroyed several villages.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board expresses its deepest sympathies to the bereaved families, prays for a swift recovery of the injured, and urges the nation’s wealthy citizens to step forward and extend their support to those affected during these difficult times.

May the Almighty Allah grant the martyrs the highest ranks in Jannah and bless the wounded with a speedy recovery.

Indeed, to Him we belong, and to Him we shall return.
