Act 1 is responsible for setting up the character arc. Your focus is to create a call to action for the protagonist which they will initially resist. The character accepts the call to action to pursue their goal or face a problem by the end of act 1. We then transition into act 2.

This series will help you to plot a story, from introducing your characters to pushing them into the main plotline.
