Chee-Hwa Tan is a Malaysian pianist, teacher and composer. She emigrated to the USA in 1984. 'Jester's Jig' ends a suite of seven dances, set at an imaginary royal court during a birthday celebration. All the dances are inspired by Baroque composers: Bach, Handel and Telemann.
