Welcome to our first-time watching as we react to Abigail (2024).

Directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin who are better known as Radio Silence the filmmaking collective they both are part of "Abigail" gives us the perfect balance between crazy unapologetic horror and surreal comedy gold!

A group of would-be criminals kidnaps the 12-year-old daughter of a powerful underworld figure. Holding her for ransom in an isolated mansion, their plan starts to unravel when they discover their young captive is actually a bloodthirsty vampire.

With a stacked cast starring Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, Will Catlett, Kevin Durand, Angus Cloud, Giancarlo Esposito and finally Alisha Weir (who by the way absolutely steals the show). There's plenty of talent to go around and they definitely delivered some memorable performances.

Abigail was such a pleasant surprise and a really fun ride.
