About this video
Today’s video is all about acid Base Imbalances and ABG interpretation for Nursing Students and NCLEX Review.
Acid base imbalances refer to when a patient’s measurements are either too acidic or too alkaline. This can cause a variety of problems including dehydration, muscle fatigue, and even death.
ABGs (arterial blood gases) are used to measure the partial pressure of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood. This helps determine whether or not a patient has an acid base imbalance, and what next steps to take for treatment.
