Master Data Insights Without Feeling Overwhelmed 📊

One of the most challenging things about data insights is the intimidation factor. I'm given so much information, charts, graphs, tabs, long paragraphs to read that it can feel overwhelming. And that's where the trouble starts. Because if I start to panic, well, I'm going to rush through the graph. I'm going to skim the question. And at that point, one of two things is going to happen. Either I'm going to miss the question or I'm going to get stuck and blow up my time. So what can you do about this intimidation problem? Well, the first thing to know is that oftentimes the questions are going to be asking something simpler than you might have expected. In other words, their bark is often worse than their bite. So the first thing to do is remain calm. Give yourself the time you need to process the information, then read the question really, really, really carefully. Make sure you know exactly what they're asking you to do.
