Coinbase Security Breach Exposes User Data 🌐

A significant security breach has impacted Coinbase. Hackers managed to compromise overseas support agents, leading to a leak of user data including names, emails, phone numbers, and account balances. This information was then used by the attackers to impersonate Coinbase support, tricking users with fake alerts and stealing their cryptocurrency.

The situation escalated when the hackers demanded a $20 million payment from Coinbase to prevent a wider leak of the compromised data. However, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong took a very bold step: Instead of paying the ransom, he announced a $20 million bounty for any information that leads to the arrest of the hackers involved!
