Cruising the River Weaver in pouring rain might sound miserable… but when you live full-time on a narrowboat, every day is an adventure! 🌧️

Join Gabby and me aboard The Jolly Roger as we laugh through the downpours, battle floating pennywort, and chat about my biggest fear this winter — flooding while living off-grid on the river. 🌊

Just when we think the day can’t get any wetter, we hear splashing outside — and discover a BABY OWL in the water! 🦉💦
Watch as we rescue it, dry it off, and witness the most heartwarming moment when it finally flies away safe and free. 💛

The next morning, it’s back to real life afloat: loading up with coal and logs, stoking the multifuel stove, and preparing for a wild autumn on the water. 🍂🔥
