In 2026, something super cool is going to happen in the sky. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are going to line up in a rare planetary show that you can actually see without a telescope. About an hour after sunset, you can spot four of them—Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, and Mercury—just with your eyes!

The Moon will also be there, almost full, sitting really close to Jupiter, making it look amazing. For Uranus and Neptune, you’ll need binoculars or a small telescope. These kinds of alignments only happen once every couple of decades, so you definitely don’t want to miss it!
