Filmed a little bit of TaiJiQuan form practice today before teaching our class in the park. Focus here is on breathing level.
I’m never happy with my form. I’m still learning every day, as well as still getting used being an imperfect human being 🤷🏻♂️
My own training notes:
*One part moves all parts move
*Synchronise breathing and movement.
*Remember air is a fluid
*Move the body like a great bow and the arms as if they are projectiles
*Follow the nature of the human body
*Surf the emptiness
On yin and Yang:
*Diminish follows create
*Shut follows open
*Observe the chirality of human movement
*Forwards follows backwards
*Natural follows unnatural
*Nothing follows something
