This webinar will explore the statistical roots of data science and how it plays a major role in the world of big data. Additionally, fundamental statistical models, their application in modern data science, and the use of statistics in drawing high-quality insights and data validation will be discussed. This content will be useful for those at all levels of statistics and math training, although no prior knowledge of statistics is needed to attend. This presentation is brought to you by the MS in Data Analytics online degree program at CUNY School of Professional Studies.
