“My journey began far from the world of films. It started with theatre during my college days, simply because the art spoke to me. From there, I took a leap into assisting Rajkumar Hirani on PK—an opportunity I couldn’t pass up working with someone I admired so much. Fast forward ten years, I landed my first film with Yash Raj Films, Maharaj. Shortly after, I was signed for Loveyappa. The characters in both films couldn’t be more different, and I wasn’t sure why I was chosen. But one thing I do know is that filmmakers see something in me—something that assures them I can bring in the eyeballs.” Being born as Aamir Khan’s son, a family deeply rooted in cinema, Junaid Khan’s journey wasn’t the conventional star-kid debut.
