How IBM tests quantum processors

Once you’ve built a brand-new quantum computer chip, how do you test it to ensure that it works as intended?🔬 🤔 In this lab tour, Jerry M. Chow, IBM Fellow and Director of Quantum Systems, walks us through the IBM Quantum characterization lab, where quantum chips designed and built by IBM are tested before they're deployed. 🥶— We also meet IBM Quantum researcher Daniela Florentina Bogorin, who shows us the dilution refrigerator connected to these quantum chips during testing.
