Author: Michael Sinatra from ESnet Date: Friday January 26th, 2018 Title: Overview of Cryptography Abstract: This talk presents a foundational overview of major crypto concepts as used in Networking protocols such as SSH, TLS, DNSSEC, PGP, and other encryption and digital-signature applications. The goal is to provide networking folks what they need to know about the cryptographic mechanisms that underlie many of our protocols. It is loosely styled after a Richard A. Steenbergen (RAS) tutorial, although I don't claim to be nearly as good (or entertaining) as RAS.
