CI24250013: Digital Watermarking using Steganography

This presentation explores the development of a low-cost, user-friendly desktop application for digital watermarking, designed to bridge the gap between expensive enterprise tools and insecure free alternatives. The tool combines AES-256 encryption and LSB steganography to embed invisible, tamper-proof watermarks into images while preserving quality. Key highlights include: - A fully functional prototype with a Tkinter-based GUI for easy embedding and extraction - Modular Python architecture for future expansion into audio and video watermarking - Target users such as content creators, educators, and NGOs needing affordable intellectual property protection - Competitive advantages, including being the only free tool integrating LSB steganography, AES-256 encryption, and SHA-256 integrity checks The system demo showcases the seamless workflow, proving that robust security can be both accessible and scalable.
