Royal Dutch experience at 40,000 feet (Part 1)

This was my first-ever business class flight with KLM, and I’d been waiting a very long time to try them. On this mid-haul journey, I went in with zero expectations — and left seriously impressed.

From the moment I boarded, the crew were warm, smiley, and genuinely friendly. The purser personally welcomed me, explained the flight, and set the tone for a relaxed, premium experience.

The new KLM World Business Class suites are fantastic — fully enclosed for privacy, with modern touches like a large touchscreen, massage function, “do not disturb” option, and intuitive storage. The seat was spacious and comfortable, the pillow was big and soft, and bedding was ready if you wanted to rest.

Add to that an easy-to-use remote, a massive HD screen, and a crew that truly enjoyed their work, and you’ve got a business class product worth flying again. Highly recommended.
