️⃣ Bring a 2-in-1 car seat and stroller for Doona. We can easily stroll through the airport all the way and just gate-check! Then, it converts to a car seat!
️⃣ I highly recommend getting TSA Pre-Check, and with Clear, it’s even better. You’ll need to take your baby out of the stroller at security, but it’s quick to pop them back into the Doona right after.
️⃣ Change diaper right before boarding
️⃣ Board last, not first! I send my husband ahead with all the bags and the stroller to gate check, then I hang back with the baby in a carrier, so there’s less time on the plane. It also gives me a chance to rock him so he’s sleepy and relaxed for takeoff.
️⃣ Protective headphones for depressurizing & try to nurse/feed baby at take-off/landing
️⃣ Travel Boppy: Lap infants under 24 months travel free domestically. A travel boppy is a must to give your arm some relief, whether you’re feeding or holding a baby. The best part is that it fits in my large diaper bag!
️⃣ You need privacy, and this nursing cover has a hoop that allows me to see my baby during feeds. It’s also super breathable.
️⃣ Pacifier clips for toys and pacifier so it doesn’t hit the dirty ground
️⃣ Baby’s Favorite Toys
