Big temperature drop today, snow out east 기온 뚝 떨어지다

Good afternoon. I’m Michelle Park, here with the latest weather forecast. A sudden cold front has brought chillier weather upon us. The morning low dropped below freezing today and we are expecting highs just above zero. The wind chill factor is much higher, so make sure to layer up more than you have been for the last couple of days. We have mostly clear skies today, with just a light layer of clouds drifting by, which will bring out the sun even more later in the day. Meanwhile, it’s a totally different story for the people on the east coast. The coastal areas of Gangwon-do have a heavy snow alert in effect, and they′re expecting up to 30 centimeters of snow. Gyeonsangbuk-do is expecting a bit less but still, a heavy snowfall of between 1 to 20 centimeters is expected, while the rest of the country can just expect 1 to 5. So be careful out there. Let′s take a closer look at the readings for today... Seoul will get up to [1] this afternoon, and the southern cities of Gwangju and Busan will reach [5] and [9]. Moving over to other regions...
