In this video, we explore 5 of the most dangerous and crime-ridden areas in Wolverhampton, one of the most well-known Black Country cities.

Wolverhampton is statistically the most dangerous city in the West Midlands, and is among the top 20 most dangerous overall out of the West Midlands's 44 towns, villages, and cities.

The overall crime rate in Wolverhampton in 2022 was 128 crimes per 1,000 people -- that’s a serious crime rate.

As you can see from our footage where we’re walking around on foot, there are some intimidating areas, poverty is a real problem in some areas, and the local council and police are taking steps to fight back.
