About this video
NFL fans are set to once again be treated to a slate of 13 games on Sunday. One of those contests, theĀ Minnesota VikingsĀ vs. Atlanta Falcons clash, will be broadcast nationally as NBC's "Sunday Night Football" game.
The remaining 12 will air in the afternoon on either CBS or Fox, with CBS having the rights to seven games and Fox owning the rights to five.
Fox has right to broadcast games in both the early- and late-afternoon window in Week 2. The network is taking advantage of this arrangement by making theĀ Kansas City ChiefsĀ vs.Ā Philadelphia EaglesĀ Super Bowl rematch the lone game in its late-afternoon window
That will make the Chiefs-Eagles contest a de facto national broadcast, despite facing some viewership competition from CBS.
