Plot: Mehna (Sridevi) is a beautiful village girl aspiring to be a teacher when a Vet comes in village, she falls in love with him and sacrifices her dream of being a teacher to spend more time with the Vet. Her mentally retreated cousin is secretly in love with her who takes care of her after the Vet leaves the village to marry another woman. But soon her cousin will be jailed for killing a rowdy villager who tried to rape Mehna.
